About the role
We're searching for a top-notch, self-starting, solutions-oriented
operations professional with a background in transportation,
logistics, and supply chain.
As a Carrier Manager, you'll be a key member of our high-performing
operations team, supporting the operations team in delivering the
highest levels of customer service and reliability in the industry.
You'll implement our strategies while working in a fun and
fast-paced environment filled with opportunities to learn, make a
significant impact, and grow within your role and the company.
What will you be doing?
- Carrier Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships
with carrier partners through effective communication via telephone
and email.
- Carrier Sourcing: Identify and engage with qualified carriers
to meet the transportation requirements of our clients while
employing excellent negotiation skills
- Technology: Harness our technology platform, data analytics,
and other available resources to make well-informed decisions,
engage in price negotiations, drive process automation, and enhance
operational efficiency.
- Coordination: Coordinate logistics activity, including
scheduling arrival dates and delivery appointments
- Service: Deliver outstanding service to both our carrier
partners and clients, ensuring their needs are met or
exceeded.
- Problem Solving: Thrive in the face of challenges, finding
quick solutions to keep supply chains moving seamlessly
- KPIs Achieve or surpass established weekly, monthly, and
quarterly key performance indicators. What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or
Business Finance or equivalent years' experience.
- 5-7 years' experience in Supply Chain and Logistics
- Two or more (2+) years' experience with Excel and/or
Tableau.
- Two or more (2+) years' experience project management
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong time management
and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to draw insights from data and effectively communicate
them to the stakeholders and senior management
- Ability to complete tasks and projects with little to no
supervision, self-starter
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced and rapidly changing
environment. What will make you stand out?
- Experience working with Jira and Salesforce is a plus.
- Experience working with large data sets is a plus. The Tech
