This team is responsible for creating complex mixed-signal ICs geared towards RF and Automotive applications.Responsibilities

• Management and Technical leadership of the Broadcast RF/Analog Design group
• Works with VP of Engg, Design and Marketing managers to define roadmaps and next generation products
• Project management including planning of resource/schedule/cost estimates, driving execution, resolution of actions, reporting of progress and results
• Ownership and hands-on participation in architecture, design and verification, algorithms, layout, validation of the product
• Responsible for hiring full-time engineers and interns
• Research design techniques through technical publications and seminarsQualificationsEducation RequirementsBSEE +10 years, or MSEE +8 years or PhD in EE +5 years of experienceRF experience preferredPrevious management of an IC Design group highly desirablePrevious direct design experience in RF and Analog/Mixed-signal circuits in DSM processesKnowledge of CMOS fabrication processes, transistors and parasiticsKnowledge of RF building blocks eg: LNA, Mixer, PGA, ADC, DAC, VCO, PLL, Voltage/Current referencesKnowledge of RF system design eg: noise figure, IP2, IP3, AGC, filtering, frequency conversion, feedback systemsKnowledge in signals, systems, transforms, noise analysisUnderstanding of layout tradeoffs for performance and sizeKnowledge of circuit simulation tools, Matlab, and UNIXProficiency in layout verification, DRC, LVSAdditional skillsKnowledge of digital design flowsLaboratory measurement skillsFamiliarity with quality systems documentation and proceduresExcellent written and verbal skillsPosition available in Austin, TX or Nashua, NHThe typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $126,500 - $241,700 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
