Phoenix Semiconductor Corporation, a leading innovator in the
semiconductor industry, is seeking an experienced Hardware/Firmware
Engineer/Architect to develop drop-in replacement semiconductor
solutions for DMS components supporting both Government and
commercial applications. This is an exciting opportunity to

Position Overview
We are looking for a mid-to-senior level engineer with expertise in
hardware and firmware engineering and FPGA/ASIC architecture. The
ideal candidate will lead the design and development of advanced
semiconductor products.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a security clearance. Work
visas will not be issued/supported.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop high-quality, production-ready hardware
solutions.
Generate fabrication artifacts for external manufacturing
partners.
Deliver production-quality FPGA solutions, from proof of concept
through full production.
Architect FPGA-based systems, determining components, interfaces,
and system requirements.
Develop and optimize designs in Verilog/VHDL for reliability and
maintainability.
Implement self-checking verification techniques with directed and
constrained random tests.
Track functional and code coverage throughout the verification
process.
Integrate and debug FPGA/ASIC devices.
Produce comprehensive documentation, including requirements,
verification plans, and user guides.
Understand customer needs and translate them into effective
solutions.
Collaborate with end-users for feedback and functionality
improvements.
Work closely with a dynamic, highly skilled team from both industry
and academia.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in hardware/firmware engineering.
Expertise in Xilinx, Altera, and Lattice FPGA development.
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical or Systems
Engineering.
U.S. Citizenship (required for security clearance).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AMD/Xilinx Vivado tool suite.
Experience with Lattice Diamond tool suite.
Experience with EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence) and EDA tool
stacks.
