Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient outcomes.
• Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective use of resources and optimize patient care.
• Recruit, hire, and train nursing staff to ensure adequate staffing levels and maintain a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and accreditation requirements.Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current RN license in the state of employment or compact.
