committed to excellence.--Position OverviewThe Chief Financial
Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the executive leadership
team, responsible for managing the company's financial actions. The
CFO will oversee all financial operations, provide strategic
financial guidance, and ensure the company's fiscal health and
sustainability. This role will require a hands-on leader who is
comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to
both strategic and operational aspects of the business.Key
ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy and Leadership--Develop and
implement financial strategies to support the company's growth
objectives and operational goals.Serve as a trusted advisor to the
CEO and executive team, providing financial insights and
recommendations.Develop, implement, and train operational and
business unit leaders in a project accounting methodology that
ensures robust accounting oversight at the project level.Prepare
and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to
stakeholders, including the executive team and board of
directors.Identify 'GO' or 'NO GO' directives on financially
impactful commitments when it comes to absorbing Non-Direct
expenses----Accounting and Financial Management--Oversee all
aspects of accounting, including accounts payable/receivable,
payroll, and general ledger management.Ensure compliance with GAAP,
tax regulations, and other financial reporting standards.Manage
cash flow, banking relationships, and debt/credit facilities to
optimize financial performance.Establish methods to pull up
accurate snapshots of the current financial health of the
organization.--Recommendations of new innovations for accounting
improvement.--------------Risk Management and Compliance--Develop
and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and
ensure the accuracy of financial records.Ensure compliance with all
legal and regulatory requirements, including contract management
and insurance policies.Monitor financial risks and recommend
strategies to mitigate them.--Strategic Planning and
Analysis--Partner with operational leaders to analyze project
financials, profitability, and cost control measures.Evaluate and
enhance financial systems, processes, and tools to support
efficient operations and reporting.Drive continuous improvement
initiatives across the finance function.--Team Leadership and
Development--Build and lead a high-performing finance team,
fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.Provide
mentorship and professional development opportunities to finance
staff.--QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or
a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).Proven experience (5-10+
years) in a senior financial leadership role, within the
construction or related industry.Strong knowledge of construction
accounting principles, including WIP reporting,
percentage-of-completion accounting, and job costing.Experience
with financial systems and ERP platforms commonly used in the
construction industry (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, or
Procore).Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and
decision-making skills.Ability to communicate financial concepts to
non-financial stakeholders effectively.Strong leadership and
team-building capabilities.Important: There are some important
