Maintenance and Facilities Manager, Accelerator Farms (Southern, Indiana or Northern, Kentucky)

Bachelor's degree or trade certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years leading and directing maintenance activities required. Preferably in the agricultural or food production sectors.
Previous Electrical and/or Building Project Management experience preferred.
Located within commutable distance to all barn locations in Southern Indiana and Northern Kentucky. Expected to be in barn locations 4-5 days a week.
Ability to travel 20-25% for company events, team meetings, and business needs.
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary to support the farms.
Must have a state approved and valid driver's license in good standing
Comfortable standing or sitting for long periods of time
Comfortable outdoors and in high/low temperatures
Comfortable working in dusty environments
Comfortable pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching out.
Comfortable operating heavy equipment or machinery
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in confined spaces
Manual dexterity and hand and eye coordination
Able to work on unlevel or uneven surfaces
Good knowledge of machine safety and safety regulations (e.g. OSHA)
Strong team building and coaching skills.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

  At Vital Farms, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to, skill level, experience, education, training, market demands, and business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current starting annual base salary for this position is $110,000 - $125,000.
