• Certification Details
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, Nursys, License/Certificate Verification, MMR, Fit Test, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, PPD- Negative Chest X-Ray and TB Questionnaire, Health Statement, 2 Step PPD OR IGRA, Varicella, Tdap, and various Ascension specific credential requirements.

  • 18 month minimum Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience required.
  • Nurse : Patient Ratio by shift: 1:1, 1:2 for ICU status, 1:3 for stepdown/non ICU in overflow unit.

    • Certifications Required: BLS, PALS
    • Certifications Preferred: ACLS
      • Additional Details
      • Must be AHA certified for various certifications.
      • Nursing only Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not NURSYs but you will still upload here.
      • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
      • Vaccines or Positive IGG Titer: Exemptions are NOT accepted for persons working in certain areas.
      • Annual requirements like Fit Test and Influenza Vaccine.
      • Health Statement or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually there after.
      • Criminal Background Checks, Education Verification, Drug Screening, and other Ascension specific credentials and onboarding requirements.
