At MissionVet, you'll find a place where your knowledge and talents are genuinely valued.Compensation:$20 - $23 depending on experience$3 hourly overnight differential$1 hourly weekend differentialSchedule:Full Time3 shifts available11:00am - 11:00pm (schedule TBD)1:00pm - 1:00am (all days needed)8:00pm - 8:00am (Weds- Saturdays)Key Responsibilities:As an ER Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing life-saving care to pets. Your duties include:Experience or familiarity with emergency care, including advanced ICU monitoring, CRI calculations, and fluid rate management.Assessing and stabilizing critically ill patients while working closely with the veterinary team.Administering medications and treatments under the direction of experienced veterinarians.Providing compassionate support to concerned pet owners and keeping them informed about their pets' condition.Ensuring accurate and detailed medical record-keeping.Collaborating with veterinarians and team members to deliver exceptional patient care.Who We're Looking For:Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVT) or Experienced ER TechniciansPrior experience in Emergency and Critical Care is required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plusThe ability to thrive under pressure and make informed decisions in fast-paced situations.A genuine passion for animal care and a commitment to patient well-being.Why Choose MissionVet!Our multi-disciplinary hospital was founded in 2012 as a sister hospital of Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists.
