About the role
The Change Management Project Manager builds and manages the Change
Management process for our financial services client to help
achieve the company's strategic business objectives. The CMPM will
develop continuous improvement strategies and lead change for
business transformation within the program.
This job is part of the Change Management function within the
Project Management team responsible for preparing, supporting, and
guiding employees, team members, and other departments with project
management from initiation through completion.
What you'll do
Develop change management strategies for programs and projects and
lead the change management track.
Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing change
management deliverables including overall change plan,
communication plan, and integration with training plans.
Ensure appropriate change management practices are effectively
applied throughout the lifecycle to improve execution and delivery
of results. Ensures alignment of change plan with overall project
plan and with other changes impacting the same groups.
Develop internal relationships with sponsors, business leads,
program managers, change champions and others impacted by the
change.
Provide training on change management to project team(s), sponsors,
business leads, change champions and impacted line managers as
needed.
Monitors adoption during post implementation. Uses tools to
identify root cause and remediate change resistance.
Create and implements change plans to build commitment. Develops
solutions, manages the change impact of initiatives, and identifies
the resources and various subject areas needed to implement change.
Assesses and analyzes change impact and readiness.
Employ validated methodologies and standard processes to ensure
consistent and repeatable change management approach is embedded in
program(s) and projects.
Learn business processes by working with team members. Assemble or
re-engineer those business processes during projects to improve
operations and increase the probability of project success.
Work with managers and impacted partners to mitigate any risks,
identify change barriers, and devise strategies to overcome the
barriers.
Implement change management practices that are applied throughout
the lifecycle to improve execution and delivery of results. Verify
alignment of the change plan with the project plan.
Use standard methodologies to ensure a consistent and repeatable
change management approach is embedded in program(s) and
projects.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE
RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Work to
build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
