We are a VC backed company and have increased revenue 28x in the past two quarters.
We help third party debt collection agencies create a digital, comprehensive self-service experience for their consumers. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau paved the way for legal digital debt collection communication by publishing Regulation F in 2021. Digital adoption is at 35% amongst debt collection agencies, but is mostly ineffective due to technology reasons.

About the role
The role is on-site 5 days per week in the office in Austin, TX. You will report directly to the CTO and be responsible for increasing the amount we collect for our clients.We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with strong experience in Go, SQL, and Linux, along with a solid understanding of AWS services. As part of our engineering team, you will help build scalable backend systems, maintain infrastructure, and ensure high performance and availability of our platform.Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang)
• Work with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) to model data and write efficient queries
• Collaborate on designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure in AWS
• Manage and optimize Linux-based environments and tooling
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to best practices
• Write clear documentation and contribute to team knowledge-sharing
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues across the stack
  Qualifications
  • 2+ years of software engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related STEM field
  • Desire to work in person in Austin
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Ability to work in the US with no restrictions
  • Nice to have: Go, Javascript, ReactJS, Mantine experienceRequirements:
    • 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related STEM field
    • Proficiency in Go (Golang) for backend development
    • Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational database design
    • Solid Linux systems experience (command line, scripting, process management)
    • Experience working with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.
    • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
    • Ability to work in person in Austin
    • Ability to work in the US with no restrictions
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindsetNice to Have:
      • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
      • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation)
      • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Kabana)
