Job Description:
A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Scientist III.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement scalable bioinformatics algorithms
and maintain pipelines for variant interpretation
Integrate gene-disease ontologies to enhance variant impact
predictions
Develop custom software solutions and collaborate with
cross-functional teams to drive technical projects
Required Qualifications
PhD in bioinformatics or related field with 4+ years of
post-doctoral or industrial experience, or an MS with 7+ years of
industrial experience
Expertise in gene-disease ontology integration
Proficiency with bioinformatics databases and programming languages
such as Python, R, and SQL
Experience with cloud computing and CI/CD tools
In-depth knowledge of clinical genetics and bioinformatics
principles
