Volt is immediately hiring for a Tube Laser Operator in Austin, TX.

As a Tube Laser Operator, you will:

Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols at all times.
Maintain and promote safe working habits and clean work area (6S-Lean Manufacturing).
Coordinate with Lead or Department Supervisor to ensure work scopes are accurately defined.
Check equipment for proper operation, safety, and/or needed maintenance.
Cut raw tubing in preparation for fabrication or processing.
Perform set-up and first piece/cut inspections.
Record set-up and run time data into M2M/SFM.
Document completion of work or inspection operations.
Inspect and clean work pieces or finished products.
Properly dispose of scrap or waste material in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
Identify cost reduction and productivity improvements (2S Lean) to Lead or Department Supervisor.
Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
Perform other jobs or functions assigned by upper management.

This is a full-time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

High School Diploma or Grade Equivalency Diploma, in addition to a minimum of two (2) years of consistent working experience. Related experience a plus.
Ability to perform physical requirements.
Great attitude and willingness to learn, must be committed, coachable, and aware.

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
