Job Description: As a Fiber Optic Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fiber optic systems. You will work with cutting-edge technology, ensuring that fiber optic networks are set up and maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

Install, test, and maintain fiber optic cables, splicing, and connectors.
Perform troubleshooting and repair of fiber optic lines and systems.
Use fiber optic test equipment to measure signal quality and performance.
Maintain and troubleshoot fiber optic networks and systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on complex installations and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in fiber optic installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of fiber optic technologies, splicing techniques, and test equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Fiber optic certification (e.g., FOA CFOT) is a plus.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and in confined spaces, as needed.
