Job Description:

The Software QA Analyst performs advanced and/or supervisory computer systems analysis and team lead work, administering the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the QA division of IT (Information Technology). Work involves planning, budgeting, and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems.

Responsibilities:

Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases.
Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail.
Perform manual testing and data validation.
Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data.
Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team.
Execute performance and accessibility testing.
The QA group supports and facilitates the implementation of all apps/projects in the client's Agency.

Skills and Experience:

Testing complex Web Applications - 8 years Required.
Testing all phases of Software Development LIfe Cycle - 8 years Required.
Database/SQL Language - 3 years Required.
API, JSON - 2 years Required.
Test automation experience using open source technologies and/or in-house frameworks - 3 years Preferred.
Experience in API testing (SOAP and REST) - 2 years Preferred.
Experience with test frameworks like Junit, TestNG - 2 years Preferred.
Experience with WAPT Pro, Jmeter, or other performance testing tools - 1 year Preferred.
Experience with Zephyr Scale - 1 year Preferred.
Experience with JIRA - 1 year Preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
