iSphere is offering a compelling 3-month hybrid opportunity in Austin, TX. This position involves advanced business analysis focusing on the planning and implementation of data governance tools for the DSHS agency. The role is instrumental in supporting data collection, identifying data assets from various sources, and implementing metadata management and data governance strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced business analysis to support data governance initiatives.
Participate in the planning and implementation of data governance tools.
Support data collection and identification of data assets from diverse sources.
Develop and implement an operational metadata management process.
Analyze and evaluate business systems to enhance data governance.
Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders and IT teams.
Conduct design meetings and metadata modeling conversations.
Create presentations for project review and status reporting.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
8 years of experience in enterprise data analytics and management.
Experience with data warehouse and data governance technologies.
Proficiency in Informatica Data Governance tools such as Axon Data Governance, Enterprise Data Catalog, and Data Quality.
Experience using Jira and Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and Power BI.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with the Texas Data Management Framework.
Experience designing and implementing data acquisition strategies.
Proficiency in creating process flows and data flow diagrams.
Ability to analyze and interpret technical information, including regulations and policies.
