TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Austin, Texas, 78704 Pay Information $1,764 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: Available upon request Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: - Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms - Knowledge of titratable drips - Understanding of hemodynamics - Experience with respiratory patients including ventilation, BiPAP, tracheostomies, and Airvo - Experience in open heart surgery recovery - Proficiency with equipment such as ECMO, Impella, balloon pumps, and CRRT/SLED Job Description: - Attend to critically ill cardiovascular patients with intensive monitoring needs - Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of RNs for both day and night shifts - Manage patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 - Utilize equipment including GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Centrimag ECMO Circuits, and Maquet Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps - Perform procedures such as central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, and intubation - Engage in ongoing communication with team members to ensure thorough patient care - Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and medical histories using Meditech EMR Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, adaptability, and a team-player mindset.
