Position Details:
Title: Actuation Valve Technician
Location: West Texas and Eastern New Mexico (Permian Basin)
Shift: Typically, Monday - Friday - 1st Shift + a rotating on call
schedule
You should be willing to work nights, weekends, and be on-call as
needed
Compensation: $26 - $35 /hour (depending on experience) + OT
(averaging 15 OT hours per week)
A company vehicle is provided for travel to job sites.

Position Description - Actuation Valve Technician
The Actuation Valve Technician position performs maintenance,
assessment, troubleshooting, and repair on various types of valve
actuators.
Key Responsibilities Include:
--- Responsible for repair and rebuild of various types of
actuators, including pneumatic and hydraulic.
--- Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring,
reassembly and testing of valves at the shop and customer
locations.
--- Follow all schematics and documented procedures in accordance
with all Quality Control and ASME National Board standards that
apply to the job.
--- Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation
associated with testing and repairs.
--- Travel to job sites and adhere to all site safety and
performance requirements.
--- Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and
customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job
responsibilities.
--- Works closely with co-workers, management and safety
coordinator to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety
regulations.
--- Enter valve information into database
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a Military Veteran with electro-mechanical
aptitude and previous experience with repairing various valves and
actuators, whether pneumatic, hydraulic or electric. You must also
have a valid driver's license and possess the ability to read and
interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals.
Additional Requirements:
Must be capable to work in conditions that are consistent with a
manufacturing and service organization consisting of work
environments ranging from a workshop to on-site at a heavy industry
facility. A variety of tools and processes will be encountered by
the selected candidate and work will involve frequent lifting of
objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Must pass an initial alcohol and
drug test and adhere to all company policies including the Drug and
Alcohol Policy for continued employment.
