Senior Estimator

As a Senior Estimator you'll drive project bids for structured cabling, audio visual, and security systems, providing accurate, competitive estimates that support our rapid growth and commitment to excellence. Working closely with the COO and CEO, you'll be a strategic part of a team, bringing expertise that helps win new business and meet client needs.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead Estimation for Structured Cabling, Audio Visual, and Security: Prepare detailed cost estimates for these projects by reviewing blueprints, specs, and project requirements. You'll collaborate closely with Sales and Project Management to ensure estimates are precise, complete, and competitive.
Work Directly with Leadership: Partner with our COO and CEO on bids and proposals, helping to shape our project strategy and align with growth objectives.
Direct Vendor Coordination: Manage supplier relationships to secure the best pricing on products, ensuring our bids remain competitive and comprehensive.
Proposal Development: Lead the proposal process, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure all project details and client requirements are clearly addressed.
Stay Informed: Keep up with industry trends through workshops, technical publications, and networking, ensuring that your estimating knowledge stays current.

Industry Expertise: Your in-depth understanding of structured cabling, audio visual, and security systems allows you to produce estimates that meet project specs and client needs accurately.
Effective Planning: Strong ability to identify cost-effective solutions that meet project requirements, bringing added value to our bids.
Accountability: You take pride in delivering reliable, accurate estimates and ensuring our proposals are on target.
Adaptability: You remain flexible and focused in response to changes in scope or project requirements.
Clear Communication: Share project information clearly and professionally, supporting alignment across teams.

Must-Haves:

Significant experience in estimating structured cabling, audio visual, and security projects, with a proven track record on projects valued at $250K-$500K+.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and project/quoting software.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

RCDD Certification
Familiarity with cabling brands like Belden, CommScope, Corning, and Panduit.
Experience in AV and/or security
