Job DescriptionPosition: Director, Innovation and AI TeamReports to: President, Advatix Inc.Position Summary:This is a crucial leadership position in the newly formed Innovation Team with Advatix (a GCG company) and has the responsibility for profitable and expedited growth of the AI-based Innovation capabilities and services to support Advatix technology solutions, consulting/CXMC services and other GCG Companies (XPDEL and Archway). The team lead will build a small team to conceptualize and prototype 2-3 use cases through this first fiscal year that integrates AI capabilities with recent hardware innovations related to AR (Augmented Reality), sensor, and drone technologies.Role Overview:As the Director of Innovation and AI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our supply chain operations. You will lead the exploration, development, and integration of advanced technologies, including AI, AR, IoT, and Drones. Your strategic vision and leadership will drive the creation of innovative use cases from concept through prototype, ensuring they deliver tangible value and competitive advantage.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead a comprehensive innovation strategy that aligns with company goals, focusing on AI (including Gen AI), AR, IoT, and Drones.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize innovative supply chain solutions that improve efficiency, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead cross-functional teams to design, test, and prototype new technologies and processes, ensuring they meet operational and market demands.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging creativity and experimentation within the team.
• Establish partnerships with technology providers, research institutions, and industry leaders to stay ahead of emerging trends and opportunities.
• Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and lean startup principles in developing and deploying new initiatives.
• Ensure all innovation projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable impact.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in innovation management, product development, or technology roles within the supply chain/logistics industry.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing innovative solutions using AI, AR, IoT, and Drones.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive high-performance teams.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of the supply chain and logistics industry, including current challenges, trends, and technologies.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in agile and lean methodologies.
